NOVEN CALIX

The NOVEN CALIX takes the octagonal case and integrated bracelet and gives them a dial with something to look at: fine horizontal ribbing that catches light differently as the wrist turns, deep blue at the centre and almost black at the edges. Applied batons, a date at three, nothing else. No logo, no printed line, no clutter.

The case is 12mm through and the bracelet tapers into it rather than hanging from it, so the piece reads as a single object. Brushed surfaces on the flats, polished on the chamfers — the contrast is what gives the case its edge at arm's length.

A quartz movement keeps it accurate and keeps the profile tight. You put it on and it works.
